Local Lass & Smelty Superfan Kennedy Shares Her Favourite Sizzlers

If there’s one lass who lives and breathes Smelty it’s Kennedy. She’s a proud local mam, a UGC content creator with a real nose for what smells lush and she’s been filling her home (and her TikTok) with our Sizzler scents for ages now. We absolutely love her vibe and her little one is the cutest!

We caught up with Kennedy to ask her about all things scent, life and what it’s really like being part of the Smelty fam and here is what she had to say –

Q: How did I come across Smelty Sizzlers, and was it love at first sniff?
So I’ve been asked by my favourite company to do a little questionnaire for their website, and I am absolutely buzzing about it. How did I come across Smelty Sizzlers, and was it love at first sniff? When I first got into my content creation journey, Smelty Sizzlers was the first company to accept me for a sample on TikTok, and that’s how we created this lovely relationship that we have now. So once my Smelty Sizzlers come, I just love them that much, and you know, now. And then now we’ve got a full box full.

Q: Which Smelty Sizzler scent makes you think, I need that in the biggest bag ever?
Even though it doesn’t look like it, because I savour this, I savour this so much because I love it. I absolutely love Sunset Funset. It just smells like summer, like it reminds me of the beach for some reason, even though it doesn’t smell like the beach. It just, it’s literally summer in a bag, and I just love the smell.

Q: Does your daughter like Smelty Sizzlers too?
My daughter loves Smelty Sizzlers as well. She’s on board with Smelty Sizzlers.

Q: Does your partner get a say in which scent goes on or not?
I’m actually nice, and I do allow him to choose scents when he wants to, but he always ends up steering for the fresh smells or the aftershavey smells, which is fair enough. I love the aftershavey smells as well.

Q: What’s your favourite place in the house to have a burner?
Now, my favourite place in the house to have a burner has got to be the living room. We’re always in the living room and who wants to sit in a living room when it smells dusty.

Q: Favourite scent to use in the kitchen?
My favourite scent to put on in the kitchen is Freshy Blue. That’s why we’ve got the biggest bag.

Q: Have you ever put a scent in a burner and thought, this is my happy place?
So yeah, like I said before, I love Sunset Funset. Freshy Blue is another one where I think, just like, I feel at home because it’s washing. It smells like fresh washing, and who doesn’t want to smell fresh washing?

Q: If you could name your own scent, what would it be?
Now, if Smelty let me name my own scent, I’d definitely call it Mad Margot.
I don’t know, that’s just got a ring to it, Mad Margot. Naming after my child, she’s mad, Mad Margot.

Q: Favourite video you’ve created for Smelty?
My favourite video I’ve created for Smelty Sizzlers has got to be the one where I sat and rated the sizzlers, because who doesn’t love a good ranking?

Q: Once your burners are all on, what’s your go-to activity to do then?
Now, I would say relaxing, but with a 17-month-old, it’s pretty hard to do that, so I’m usually chasing Margot around the burners up high so that she doesn’t drag them off. The good thing about Smelty Sizzlers is that these, if you spill these on the floor, you’re just going to have to hoover them up. You’re not going to have to sit there and scrape wax out of your carpets, you know what I mean? Amazing. That’s one.

Q: If Smelty created a sizzler for your family, what would it smell like?
So first of all, it’s got to smell like a little bit of washing, because there’s always washing getting done in this house.
The laundry pile never goes down. It’d be a hint of chocolate, because my child is obsessed with chocolate. Aftershave chocolate and washing, I don’t know if that’s going to smell nice, but I’ve had so much fun creating this video, so thank you, Smelty Sizzlers. I absolutely love this company, and you definitely should too.
